LUMOSX
LUMOSX is derived from the word lumen which in Latin means light. And for all those Harry Potter fans out there, "lumos" is a spell that ignites light at the tip of their wands.

Our business is mission driven to advance human rights and dignity and believe that no one should be sold for profit. We are committed to be fighters for freedom and help break the chains of human trafficking.
40 million people wake up everyday and are not free to choose where they work or who touches their body. That is the same amount of people as the entire population of California. 1 in 4 of those victims are children who are lured and coerced into modern day slavery and then exploited for profit.
Every purchase you make, you are directly helping in creating a path for freedom. Proceeds goes directly to organizations that rescue victims of human trafficking, put them in a safe place and prosecute the perpetrators.
Founder
Hi I’m Laura, the founder of LUMOSX! I’ve always had trouble sleeping ever since I was a little girl. I was scared of the dark and monsters under my bed. I would wish upon a star and be comforted by the starry sky above. I dreamed of becoming a superhero to fight against injustice and protect the innocent. I believe that no one is too small to make a difference.
Fast forward to adulthood, I’ve grown up to be a nurse living in Vancouver, Canada. I love drifting off under the starry night sky when I go camping in beautiful British Columbia. But now instead of being scared of the dark, I am scared of my alarm clock. Let’s be real, who likes alarm clocks?
